The Fascination for Boots are Natural and Sensual

Boots 'do' something for Mistresses AND Master's, but particularly Mistresses. When the fashion for knee-high boots came back in the sixties, girls took on a new dimension. A well filled calf, a nicely turned ankle and trim high heel made women walk differently - they almost strutted, like peacocks, and it was fine. Men took to wearing leather Wellington boots, and we all know the "Mellors" effect of breeches tucked into high boots, and what it does for the women...

And then the manufacturers went to town - and introduced the zip boot, which was convenient, and some of them do look good, but they are not the same thing: mass production and mass markets yes, but the makers were persuaded that what was needed was money, and of course that rules. Boots were, and are relatively cheap. Made for you. But spend a bit: there is nothing like having a pair of boots made for you, to measure. Anyone who has been able to afford it will tell you: it makes all the difference. Fit is everything, and custom made they fit, both on the foot and in the calf, and that is how it should be, like the difference between a ready made off the peg, and a tailored suit. For women, fashions have fluctuated, the height of the heel, the height up the calf to the knee, the shape of the zip, over-knee boots, lovely long slender thigh-boots, zipped or laced, (these are lovely, particularly if they are black with red laces), suede boots (very sexy), decorated laced boots with tagged laces, boots in two colors, platform boots (less fun than the girls think, unless very well made), pearlescent boots, metallic boots, any boots.

Then of course you come to your actual specialist wear, like cat-suits and bootees; jerkins and boots; safari jackets and boots; you know the range.

They are out of this world. Why? Because leather does do something for the wearer, and the admirer. It gives a slight cocky arrogance to the wearer, girl or boy, which is attractive and let's face it, sexy. It is a natural material, sensuous and supple and sensitive. It is also economic, practical, and never goes out of fashion. It comes in all colors and textures and can be very feminine as well as butch. You know, when you look at her, that she is conscious of her attraction, and it gives her a glow, and it's wonderful, isn't it? Now, couture for men in leather is a little different: for years men have worn black leather zipper jackets, greasy jeans tucked into motor-cycling boots, unpolished, and that is often the image people have. Now not so: jackets like the ladies' come in all styles, and color, but black is the most common still, and it is good. But by using glove leather and skivers (paved skins) really good trousers and jeans can be made, jackets can be made to fit, zippered or buttoned, and the whole range is there. Also, there are of course, tight fitting suits, breeches, capes, and the whole bit. Expensive - not really when you consider the workmanship involved, and they are great! All worn with boots - the range for men is as wide as for the women, from butch cowboy boots in hide, to soft suede thigh boots, the sky is the limit. Boots and leather, leather clothes and boots.
