B&D on a Budget You don't have to be rich or break the bank to have great, sensory titillating scenes. Sure, all those big, leather floggers, whips, paddles, fancy feathers, pin wheels, nipple clamps, tools, implements, and toys are nice to have. But you don't have to have them all right away. You may have heard of "Pervertibles." Here are some ideas to get you started on your Pervertibles collection. Take a look at what you have around the house before hitting the leather/toyshops. Your ordinary feather duster makes a great tickler, as well as big powder puffs, makeup brushes, and flowers. Spatulas & wooden spoons, slotted or not, can be used as smaller sized paddles or use a smaller sized cutting board to cover larger areas. And don't forget about the rulers & paint sticks. Paint sticks are free at most of the hardware stores. Try running the back of a big metal spoon that has been sitting in ice water down your partners back, then use it to smack them. My Master loves pulling out cards of tinsel to tickle & flog. Add a violet wand & the tinsel puts on quite a show! The prongs of a fork make a good prickler & scratcher. Take a rubber band and pop away. Or pop away with a wet towel. All kinds of brushes from ones used for a baby's hair to the heavy-duty scrub brushes and wire brushes will give a variety of sensations. Clothes pins make terrific nipple and labial clamps, from the tiny, colorful, plastic dollhouse ones that you can barely feel, to the wooden ones that are very tight and on to the heavy duty utility clips that I don't want anywhere near my sensitive parts. Two others on my "please do not use on me" list are favorites of Sir Midian - the infamous plunger and the nasty rubber snake. With a little imagination, you'll probably find more stuff that you can even use in your first several scenes. If there's a particular sensation you haven't been able to find, then go to the dollar type stores & look around. And it probably won't be long before you find yourself at the local Dungeon Depot a.k.a. Home Depot. When you do have a few dollars to spare, go ahead & spoil yourself with a brand new toy from your local or Internet leather/toy shop, or get some ideas & make your own leather equipment. No matter what your budget is, and as long as you and your partner are in sync, Magic will happen!
