The Early Registration is $100.00, making it one of the most affordable 3-day events this fall. The only event Halloween weekend that has Hardy Haberman debuting 3 new classes, and Dave Rhodes teaching about Leather History. To have those 2 prominent people in the Leather and Fetish Community teaching at an event is huge. Hardy Haberman – published author, film maker, and presenter on things SM, and Dave Rhodes – publisher of the Leather Journal, the premiere publication on the Leather and Fetish lifestyle. Florida Fetish Weekend is also only 30 minutes from Busch Gardens for Howl-O-Scream , and 1 hour to Walt Disney World for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party . This makes it a very affordable vacation before the holiday craziness. This is also the perfect time of the year for Tampa, the average temperature is 75 degrees during the day, and 68 degrees at night. Tampa / St. Pete also has the whitest beaches of the entire Gulf Coast, and it is only 5 minutes from the hotel. The hotel has a free shuttle bus to the International Mall, which has the finest restaurants, as well as the most affordable restaurants in all of Tampa, from Jackson's Steakhouse to Chick-fill-a. Other events are charging for everything, such as Pins, T-Shirts, even for the Afternoon Tea, but Florida Fetish Weekend is not. Also you do not have to be a member of any organization to get special rates for Registration. Registration cost $100.00 till September 15, 2008 or $125.00 till October 15, 2008. That is much less than the cheapest registration out there for any event held during October of this magnitude. Also every event during the weekend is open to all paid registrants, not just a few. All Special Events ARE INCLUDED!!! Vendors open at 2:00PM and will not close till Sunday at 6:00PM, with special hours Friday and Saturday evening, so you can shop during your breaks at the parties. We also have 4 (yes 4) play spaces available for anybody’s taste, such as a Messy Room for Needle Play, and Blood Play – with sharps containers, and other safety precaution items around, an ALL MALE Space with slings, and an ALL FEMALE Space with slings, and a 2,300 square foot pansexual play space with many furniture items for your kinky pleasures. Most of the Play spaces are open 24 hours for your kinky pleasures throughout the weekend. Munchies will be available during the parties so you can get something to eat or drink and keep playing all night long. Continental Breakfast is included for all attendees, or upgrade to a hot breakfast for ONLY $3.00 (Hilton Honors membership – which is free – is required, and we help you to become a Hilton Honors member). Friday night is not just a Costume Ball – but a BARE AS YOU DARE Dance!!! Questions on what you can wear to the Dance? Think about it!!! Sunday Afternoon is an old-Fashion Fire Island Style T-Dance with music from the 70’s and 80’s, for your dancing or swimming pleasure. This year the host hotel will be the Doubletree Westshore Hotel in Tampa. Rooms are $99.00 per night, 4 person maximum. Compared to many of the other events throughout the year, that is quite affordable. If you are a Hilton Honors member, Continental Breakfast on Friday and Saturday will be free, or you can upgrade to a Hot Breakfast for $3.00. Hilton Honor membership is free, and we have the link on our site to join. Where else can you get a hot breakfast for only $3.00 per person. Also this weekend is the International Pony and Trainer contest as well as Mr. and Ms. Florida Olympus. The purpose the International Pony and Trainer Contest is to select the pony and trainer couple who can best represent the Pony Play community at large as ambassador, teacher and mentor to those in the Leather and BDSM communities. The winning pony/trainer will make a commitment to promote Pony Play throughout the community during their title year. The Mr. and Ms. Florida Olympus contest is the only pansexual contest of its kind geared towards the entire Leather and Fetish Community and gender and sexual identity doesn’t matter, but your willingness to represent the community does!
