Tips 'n Tricks: Clothespins
About clothespins
On this page you'll find tips and tricks about using and modifying
clothespins. Basically there are two types of them: wooden and
plastic ones. The wooden ones are preferred in most of the cases.
They have less tendency to abrade, easier to modify and a bit kinder.
The plastic pins 'feel' nastier and tend to have a smaller ribbed
gripping surfaces. Especially the small ones are very nasty indeed.
Clothespins are fun, they are probably one of the cheapest toys you
can find and yet very versatile. They can do everything your pinching
fingers do, but your fingers can't do everything clothespins can.
Another benefit: you have your hands free for some other activities...
Adjusting the pressure:
For some people, the normal pressure is too intense, for others it's
just not enough. Increasing the pressure can be accomplished by using
a elastic band and wrap it around the clamping end. Decreasing the
pressure can be done in a few ways. The easiest way is to keep the
pin open at its limit a few days. That way the spring is weakened in
a 'natural' way. Another option is to pull the jaws; that way the
spring looses its strength and will probably be too weak. A third
option is to use an elastic band; the spring stays intact and will
not be permanently damaged.
Even better is making the pressure adjustable. Drill a hole through
both the legs, about 8mm from the end, and thread a bolt through the
holes and use a wing-nut. This way the pressure can be controlled
extremely precise. It's best to drill the hole slightly wider than
the diameter of the bolt; this way adjusting will be easier due to
the slack.
Techniques One:
tip in general: start with light pressure and build up as the
arousal increases. If you're beginning try not to leave the
pins on for a long time. A classical place to start is of course
the nipple. Start with the base of the nipple (and maybe a bit
areola). This will do nice thing to the sensitivity and will not
cause severe pain. If you place the jaws on the tip of the nipple,
the pain will be 'biting'. The longer the clamping time, the more
fierce the pain will be when removing the pins. The sensitivity
will last from thirty minutes to a few hours, depending on the
person, clamping force and time. Applying ice will decrease the
pain and time if that's desired.
Another thing you could do is put the pin on a larger nipple
sideways (maybe even a bit on the areola). That way the tip of
the nipple is exposed for other good actions like sucking, ice
or other clamping devices.
You might also put the clothespin on the tip of the nipple
or working gradually from the base of the nipple when your
sub gets more aroused. Tapping or lightly brushing the tip
of the pin can be very effective. You could even use a
vibrator (don't overdo it) or tape it to the ends of the pin.
When your sub's breasts are big enough, you can glue the
outside legs of two clothespins together with a slight overlap.
That way you can clamp it on both nipples at the same time. The
pull is depending on the breast-size, and if the nipples are too
far apart you can glue a piece of wood between the two pins. It
can be fun for her to jiggle her breasts, and here's another:
how about some tickling?
Pulling off a clothespin is more painful than squeezing the legs
to remove it gently, and is the basis for several devices below.
Again, the longer one leaves them attached, the stronger the result.
It is also possible to flick off clothespins with a flogger or some
other striking device, and combining the two is an interesting way
to add some bright 'explosions' to the sensations of a 'standard'
flogging without switching instruments or striking harder. When doing
this near the front of the body, some form of eye protection is
advisable; a heavy blindfold will serve nicely.
Of course you are not limited to nipples only...there are
many other very nice places where you can clamp 'em on. Other
parts of her breasts, her limbs or any part of her body will
serve very well also. You can be very creative with the shapes
as well.
Some examples:
-
a row, circle (or other shape that pops up in your evil
mind) on the belly or back one or more on the labia or
other areas the inner thigh or arm a belt of clothespins
round the waist small clothespins on the webbing of
fingers and toes the earlobe (the dangling legs of the
clothespin brush the neck nicely) behind the knees
and inside the elbows a circle round the thighs as a
reminder to keep them spread;-)
Making a 'zipper' You can also make a so-called 'zipper'. A
zipper is a string of clothespins attached to each other with
a piece of thin cord. What you do is drill a hole trough one
leg of each clothespin (take at least fifteen of them) and
thread them on a cord at small intervals. The spacing may
vary and you can also make double rows. Voila! there's your
zipper. A few common places are the inside of the upper arm
or the side of the body (secure hands above the head).
Modifying the pins to intensify the sensation. The
simplest way is mentioned before: increasing the clamping
force. But there are several other methods as well.
File several grooves in the clamping area so the clamping area
is physically smaller, prevent slippage and make the feeling a
bit more harsh. Take some short nails with a diameter of
approximately 3mm and drill three holes trough the clamping
ends of two clothespins. Use a file or sandpaper to make the
tips of the nails smooth and round. Push the nails trough the
holes so that they hold the clamping ends open at about 3mm.
Use a drop of glue to secure them and let it dry, then saw off
the excess length from the outside of the nails.
This modification is very nasty because the clamping force now
concentrates primarily on the three small, sharp areas instead
of the entire clamping area. Use this pin with care. It may be
a good idea to use the 'bold-version' pin mentioned above so
you can control the clamping force. Test the pins on yourself
to avoid damage when the nails are too sharp!
